Safety Precautions First

  ✔ Shut down all equipment, disconnect power and implement lockout/tagout to prevent accidental startup.

  ✔ Wear necessary PPE: hard hats, safety glasses, steel-toed boots and gloves.

  ✔ Secure the rotor and clear residual materials in the crushing chamber.

  ✔ Use appropriate lifting equipment for heavy parts; work with at least one other person for safety.

Key Steps for Blow Bar Replacement

  1. Hydraulically open the access door (per Greentrack’s manual) and confirm the rotor is locked.

  2. Remove worn blow bar fasteners with professional tools; use a wooden hammer to loosen stuck ones (avoid steel hammers).

  3. Lift out worn blow bars and clean the rotor’s mounting surface.

  4. Install new Greentrack original blow bars in pairs, align correctly, and tighten fasteners to specified torque.
